 It turns out it's actually not that hard to get here, I'd say it's a Frowned Upon Reach at most. Nice place, though.

Well, This Is Awkward

 

I mean, it's not the first time I've fought myself in Warcraft, but I think it's the first time in dragon-form? Regardless, I think I'm going to go with Ezristrasza for my Drakonid character (when I get around to making one).

Mêlée Their Fears

 Rocksy: "Ok, I see. Allay their Fears. With the crook. So just shepherd them to some anima so they feel better?"

Korinna: "Oh, you sweet summer child. No, this crook is going to suck the anima and soul right out of them."

Rocksy: "But..won't that just exacerbate their fears, like... the opposite of allay?"

Korinna: "Nah, they'll be dead. You'll have to kill them so the crook can absorb everything."

Rocksy: "Er...So I'm going to BEAT them with this stick?"

Korinna: "Just do whatever it is you Shaman do. Throw rocks. Lightning bolts. Balls of lava. I don't care. Just kill them and the crook will fill up so you can complete the ritual and release their souls. May the gentle sound of bells follow you always." 

Rocksy: "Omg, NO. I don't want to hear the sound their souls make after all this. Does D.E.H.T.A. know about this place? Let's just never speak of this again, okay?"

Night Fae Musings

Maybe the Real Treasure...

Nah. I do want Gus' crittershape to add to my collection, it's even cuter than the Corgi. My whirlwind tour of the covenants came to a grinding (ha!) halt recently and I'm now trying to fit it all into the weekends. I hope I can get done with Night Fae before the next expansion. 

I did find out that if you soulshape just prior to taking this quest you get a moment to enjoy the sight of a Brontofly. Or Butterosaurus. I should have gone with Alpacafly. 

I also got this handsome fellow, and realized that he's a Luck Dragon..

Which gives me more chores to do, collecting the different colors. So, so lucky. 

I did find the time to do some things for Bwonsamdi. His quests were annoying, especially as an engineer. Every time I'd conjure up a wormhole, he'd have some portal ten yards away (or halfway across Ardenweald) that you had to use to get the quest objective to show up. And the lighting in the Necropolis was nil. It's embarrassing how many times I walked off the edge here. Even for me. I was even more "i HaVe nO idEa WhAT iM dOInG" than I usually am. Perpetual noob.

Noble Creatures of Ardenweald

I forgot how much I love that ridiculous Alpaca hop. So far it's the only soulshape where I've noticed my weapon still hanging on. When my brother mentioned that I'd like collecting the soulshapes if I tried out Night Fae, I didn't realize there were so many different ones, and it's absolutely the best part of this covenant. (I guess I should upgrade everything before I can say that definitively.)
 

But..dinos. So I'm pretty confident that I will still feel that way at the end. Also, when Shadowlands is over, I hope we get access to all of the covenants we joined. Flying across Revendreth when you're not Venthyr and can't use the mirrors is the worst thing ever (note: I haven't tried Bastion's covenant and probably won't, but it would no doubt be worse having/losing access to whatever their transportation is since flying across Bastion sucks so much already.)

Then there's this guy. If I have to use my crittershape in rested areas*, at least I can turn into this goof. I got the bee first, but the legs of bees are too spidery up close, and even though it made a funny buzz when I took fall damage, I finally had to look for something else. At least it gives me something fun to look up while I'm googling maps to find my way around this treehouse.

*My brother explained how to actually read all the options in tl;dr textboxes, so now I can be an alpaca full-time!

 FINALLY exalted with Ember Court and I'm just going to do one more party before leaving Revendreth behind. I think I'll try out Night Fae before I return to my Necrolord home for good. I don't think I'll bother with Bastion. I took the shortcut past the Maw on my Paladin and joined Kyrian, so maybe if I get around to leveling her I can experience that covenant somewhat. I don't like them for my Goblin because they're always telling me I'm pretty good at flying, for a creature without wings. It's irritating, because my Goblin *clearly* does have wings, Thank You Very Much, Tuvok.
