Poco-Pepe-poppycock

I've been trying to do Zereth Mortis stuff, but I still spend most of my time working on my Venthyr covenant crap. I really thought getting exalted with The Avowed would take no time when I joined Revendreth. I didn't realize that I would be accusing Inquisitors and absolving souls for all eternity.

But the worst part of this covenant is the Ember Court. I don't think I'll ever figure it out completely, and even if I did, it wouldn't work properly. The minigame where you kill bugs or capture bugs had a helpful special action button for swatting them, except that it didn't actually do anything. Capturing them worked, but I had selected a guest list that preferred a "messy" atmosphere. Then there's the dredger waiter minigame:

The first time I tried this one, the "serve drink" and "serve food" never activated and the only things I could do were: run fast, punch guests, or eat a cupcake to heal myself. Strangely, punching my guests didn't seem to increase their happiness levels, even if I asked them politely, "Would you care for punch? *winding up arm*". You really never can win with some people.

I'm not sure if there was a buff to reputation gains in the last couple weeks, because after crawling along through Neutral and Friendly I'm now sitting at Revered, although this week's Ember Court didn't advance me very far in that, so we'll see how long this takes. Maybe I'll get bored and finish The Avowed rep before the Ember Court weekly comes around again. If I ever get done with the Venthyr I'd like to try Night Fae, since I may never get around to playing my poor Druid again. Rocksy already looks the part (and sounds the part, with her macroed flute/hearthstone) so she may as well earn the rest of the outfits. But I do really miss Necrolords and eventually will probably return to the tomb. Maybe I'll manage to catch up on Zereth Mortis before there be dragons.

Twinsies

There were finally people to dance with in Ardenweald to summon the rare that drops Rocky, and I somehow got the drop on my first try! I also got Sly this week from the Kyrian assault, though it was a longer process since I had to find Sly three times in three different Kyrian assaults. I like the big-eared Vulpin models because they make my Goblin's ears look tiny in comparison.  Rocky is my favorite, though, for his matching name and coloring.

Major Side-Eye

Seventeen attempts that involved checking if the Black Empire invasion was in the right place for this rare to be up, waiting around forever for it to spawn, hoping to have enough time to get a hit in before other players massacre it,  and then hoping that RNG favors you for once.  I felt like I was forced to acquire this stupid rare-dropped toy just to get the All-Seeing Right Eye out of my inventory.

At first I couldn't even tell what the toy did, so I had to take off the glasses.

Okay. Cool, I guess?

Uhh..they start to look a little goofy when they're moving around, so...glasses back on.

And this is the Trogg-Fairy. He puts rocks under your pillow, unrequested.  It's not even in exchange for anything, it's just because he's a jerk.

It's Lovely, Bobbing Along

Since Sparkles Rain from Above is a vehicle quest, I can use costumes to swim around in with sparkly wings on! I need to make a list of my favorite costumes to rotate through when these quests come around.

Just Horsing Around

Since I realized the assault mounts work as a vehicle and you can stay costumed while mounted, I've been trying a different one out each time I head to the questing area. And sometimes while questing.

It's the little things. And the slightly bigger things. Pretty much all the things.

Everyone's a Critic

"I can see why."

I have done all of the assaults now multiple times and didn't realize there were achievements to be completed for each one. Winslow Swan was the last champion I needed to accompany me during the "You and What Army" quest, and he is definitely my favorite. I love that his song causes enemies to walk away, stunned.
